Description
It is a rare occasion indeed to see such transient moments of spectacular light - even more so to see such a rich crimson colour as this. From the summit of Liathach, I had an excellent vantage point to fire off a variety of compositions, including the various mountains as subjects. There are a few other images in my gallery depicting this moment, although I will admit - this one is my favourite! The wonderfully intricate layers of this grand landscape are displayed beautifully in this scene, with Sgurr nan Lochan Uaine and Beinn Liath Mhòr framed prominently, appearing as swells in the vast Red Sea.
