Description
The view south from near the summit of the Ben. The elevated position on Scotland’s highest mountain was the perfect place to be during this temperature inversion that resulted in some very atmospheric haze creating incredible separation in amongst all of the distant mountains. Prominent mountains in view include: Sgùrr a’ Mhàim (bottom left), Stob Bàn (bottom right), the Aonach Eagach ridge (left of centre), Sgùrr na Ciche, the Pap of Glen Coe (far right of centre), the complex ridges of Bidean nam Bian (far centre) and Ben Cruachan (very far distance, right of centre).
