Description
This is a location that I had identified years prior and one that had long captured my imagination. Those who are familiar with the mountain Cul Mòr shall undoubtedly have noticed the peculiar pinnacle that protrudes from the north-western ridge. It is easily identifiable from many viewpoints in the region, but far less simple to reach up close. This, naturally, increased the appeal to me to photograph it.
I had never seen any images of The Pinnacle before and there is also scarce little information regarding the ascent to reach it anywhere in the guidebooks. So, when I finally made the ascent to this rocky enigma, I was very glad to enjoy a wonderful sunset over the expansive landscape beyond.
