Description
The infamous Aonach Eagach, ‘the notched ridge’, is revered by many as the most difficult scramble on the mainland of Scotland. I do wonder about the legitimacy of such claims. There’s probably loads of others that are just less-frequented. Nevertheless, it does look very enticing from the surrounding mountains. As seen here from Stob Coire nan Lochan, as it emerged in a brief interlude in the clouds.
