Description
I was very fortunate to see some spectacular moments in the Lake District in the winter of 2024. This was easily the deepest lying snow I had ever seen in the region. I had intended to visit the summit of Scafell Pike en route to this location for sunset, but it quickly became apparent that it would be nigh impossible - such was the depth of the drifts I was slowly wading through. I actually had more emphatic light earlier in the sunset, but the subtlety of this frame appealed to me.
