Spending three days and two nights in absolute peace and solitude on this spectacular mountain is an experience that I will never forget. The dome-shaped prominence on this mountain, Lord Reay’s Seat, was a feature that I had identified to photograph years prior. Due to a bad bout of covid the week prior, the hike in and out was particularly challenging. The first sunrise unfortunately did not materialise as I had envisaged - so I hung on for another night and finally got my reward.
