Ice and Fire | Bowfell
Earlier in the day, I had been rather disappointed to miss the spectacular sunrise and inversion scenes, as I had opted for an alternative viewpoint that unfortunately didn’t rise above the clouds. Luckily for me, it stuck around through the whole day. That’s one of the benefits of winter, not having to wait long between sunrise and sunset. I opted for Crinkle Crags, knowing that would likely be high enough and also has spectacular views over to the other high fells.
