Description
A very memorable moment. It was a challenging hike up to Coire nan Lochan, breaking trail through waist deep drifts and battling agains the clock. Consequently, I was a little bit later arriving than I had wished, which meant I had little time to hunt around for an optimal composition before the sun arrived. I opted to climb a little further up Sgùrr Èilde Beag to gain an elected position overlooking the loch an and I was soon treated to a beautiful display with the pink glow of the rising sun lighting up the frozen depths of this special landscape.
