Description
An Teallach is a mountain that is revered by all who hold an interest in the high places of the Scottish Highlands. I had been saving an ascent of this mountain for a special occasion, for no reason other than the fact that it is a special mountain. I eventually made the steep ascent via Glas Tholl, beneath the towering precipices on the northern face of Glas Mheall Liath and enjoyed the fantastic array of sandstone on the summit of the Munro, Bidein a’ Ghlas Thuill. This classic view over to Sgùrr Fiona and the pinnacles of the Corrag Bhuide was too much to resist at sunset before I enjoyed a surprisingly restful night in the tent amongst the boulder strewn summit.
