Description
The classic view from the summit of A’Mhaighdean is, quite rightly, regarded as one of the most indelible anywhere in the Scottish Highlands. I must admit, I was more astonished than I had expected to be upon seeing it for the first time. I was also glad to find some interesting compositional opportunities that I had not encountered from the photography I had seen from here in the past. Ben and I enjoyed a wonderful few days of high pressure that enabled us to explore the mountain and the surrounding landscape free from concerns of weather impacting upon our plans or photographs! Fàsach Oìr is Scottish Gaelic for ‘Golden Wilderness’ - which felt very appropriate.
