At Peace | Sgùrr Èilde Beag
This was a long time coming. The approach was long, wading through deep snow in total darkness. The low cloud inversion made things trickier - with my head torch rendered almost useless with it just lighting up the moisture in the air around me. I eventually made it above the cloud and away from the torture. What awaited me above was serenity beyond anything I have ever imagined. Absolute calm. Total solitude on a frozen island above a sea of mist.
