I have never seen the Lake District under such heavy snow. Photographing the Scafell Massif from Bowfell under such wintry conditions had been an objective in my mind for some time. As the sun rose and unveiled more of the scene, you’d have been forgiven for believing you had teleported to the Alps! A really amazing moment and a dream fulfilled.
